Awaken Within Holistic Nutrition LLC I have struggled with type 1 1/2 diabetes for 40 years. I was insulin dependent for 36 years. I thought I was predestined for this disease because my mother was a type 1 diabetic. I have found making good choices through whole food nutrition and lifestyle, I can control my blood sugars. Most of my life, I have been drawn to the holistic arts. I love food, cooking, gardening and I have always had an innate sense of being healed holistically, I just needed to find the right tool to help me on my journey. I found this tool as an NTP with the understanding that I had to start within my own body to find the answers. My advocacy is to guide others through education of the body's dynamics and how disease manifests, while suppling them with their own tools to help guide them on their own personal healing journey.
