Clare Maxwell

I guide students towards a more mobile, resilient, and joyful relationship with their bodies using the principles of the Alexander Technique. I teach 1:1 and also lead workshops and intensives. I developed Cranial Nerve Sequencing to calm and focus your central nervous system; and Mobile Body Alignment to increase ease and mobility. My work helps therapists build better boundaries and be fully present with individual clients without losing themselves. I also provide personal and business development sessions and mastermind groups for therapeutic professionals of all kinds, including AT teachers.



I completed my training in the Alexander Technique at ACAT/NYC and certified with Jessica Wolf in The Art of Breathing after a 30 year career in modern dance. I'm fascinated with all forms of developmental movement, including Body Mind Centering and the Dart Procedures.



I was honored to be on the volunteer faculty at ACAT/NYC for 10 years and am an active member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique.
