I came to the Alexander Technique in my 20s because of debilitating neck, shoulder, and back pain. Besides the pain relief it afforded me I was drawn to the Technique because it's simple and extremely practical. I'm continually inspired by how it helps people make positive changes in their lives.

I trained with Joan and Alexander Murray and was certified in 2003. I taught privately out of a studio in St. Paul, MN for 21 years before retiring my private practice in 2024. Since 2017 I've helped train the next generation of Alexander Technique teachers at MinnCAT, a training program in Minneapolis, MN. I'm also on the faculty of an annual residential retreat in Malibu, CA. I've been an active member of AmSAT since I was certified in 2003, serving on the AmSAT Board and several different committees.

I have authored the educational blog Less Effort More Ease since 2014. The blog helps readers explore posture through the lens of the Alexander Technique

I am currently available to do customized presentations and workshops for groups.
