As a therapy clinic, we are not traditional because we do not do what everyone else does. We use our hands! And our hearts. We are all trained in The 'John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach. We use our hands to detect muscle tension and the surrounding fascia. Fascia is a protective thin barrier that surrounds all tissue in the body. It is supportive but, at the same time, can cause restrictions equivalent to a 'straight jacket, ' causing strain patterns, shortening of some muscles, and over-stretching others, creating pain and pressure on the sensitive structure.
