Laura's Integrated Functional Therapy (LIFT)

After working as an Occupational Therapist for 33+ years, I received training to become a Massage Therapist. I became a Reiki II practitioner as well. In the past 5 years, I have attended several Myofascial Release seminars including Myofascial I and II, Fascial Pelvis, and Unwinding. I now own and operate my own clinic/studio in downtown Custer, SD. My experiences with clients with cerebral palsy, students with special needs, home health clients, acute care hospital patients, and older people in nursing homes have provided a full education that builds a solid base of understanding for people wanting to transition to a healthier state. I have been on the board of directors for the Women Escaping a Violent Environment, (W.E.A.V.E.), and understand the emotions and physical trauma connected with PTSD. I embrace the mind-body connections as understood by John F. Barnes and love the always mysterious path to greater health and understanding.
