Celeste is a Physical Therapist and graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1998. She spent the next 20 years in a variety of settings including pediatrics, home health care, inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing care. She was referred to a John Barnes trained therapist in 2017 for a longstanding back injury and she knew she had found something profound. By 2018 Celeste had completed her first series in Sedona, Arizona and she was hooked! Celeste has since taken most of John's classes and is looking forward to Myofascial Release 3 in October 2023.Celeste is a physical therapist with extensive training in trauma focused care and advanced training in myofascial release. She uses this unique combination to bring a different approach and perspective to her clients. She focuses on the mind/body connection, using physical touch to help people get in touch with their bodies. Once awareness is present, clients can begin to heal and release what the body has stored and carried around - sometimes for weeks, months, years or even decades. What Celeste has found both personally and professionally is that this work can be the missing piece for many. She has witnessed an abundance of healing in herself, her family, her clients and her community. Celeste has seen improvements in the ability to access emotions, experiences and healing after receiving myofascial release. Celeste offers one-on-one sessions that focus on finding the restrictions in the fascial system, starting to release the these restrictions and teaching self treatment techniques to continue as a daily practice. She works with all ages, genders and walks of life, but does have a special passion for mothers preparing for and recovering from pregnancy and birth (no matter how long ago the baby was born).
