Professionally trained in MFR and craniosacral therapy since 1990.



Sandra Norris Wheeler, LMT, CST was one of the first Advanced/ Expert Myofascial Release Therapists in the state of Oregon. She began her training with John Barnes in 1990, and immediately recognized and experienced the effectiveness and profound long term healing capacities of this modality.



After that first course she completed hundreds of hours of training all over the US with John Barnes, assisted in his courses and has helped treat patients with John in both the Paoli PA and Sedona MFR clinics. She continues to train with John Barnes whenever possible.



From the first course, Sandra integrated MFR into her thriving massage practice. MFR has given her the professional skills to work with a wide range of people with complex injuries, life transitions and trauma, and she continues to receive referrals from doctors, therapists and other manual therapists to help bring relief to many people who have had limited success with other modalities, treatments and surgeries.



For over 30 years Myofascial Release has been a profound professional AND personal healing journey, which deepens Sandra's capacity to work with many people going through life and health transitions. She has a wealth of experience, skills and compassion for the profound process of healing and reclaiming wholeness in body, mind and spirit.



Sandra is also an Advanced Craniosacral therapist and has been an instructor and mentor in this gentle and powerful modality. Craniosacral therapy is a wonderful adjunct to MFR, as it directly calms and integrates the nervous system as the fascial restrictions and misalignments are gently corrected with MFR.
