Smith is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, ECPI, and the NC Massage School. He worked in IT for many years, wanted a change, and enrolled at the NC Massage School to become a massage therapist. Smith wholeheartedly believes in the John F. Barnes, PT, LMT, NCTMB Myofascial Release method and has completed over 422 hours of training in Myofascial Release I X 2, Myofascial Release II X 2, Myofascial Release III, Myofascial Unwinding X 2, Advanced Myofascial Unwinding X 2, Fascial-Pelvis X 2, Cervical-Thoracic, Fascial Cranium x 2, Pediatric Myofascial Release, Myofascial Mobilization X 2, Myofascial Rebounding X 2, Women's Health Seminar, Myofascial Healing Seminar, Therapy for the Therapist program, Skill Enhancement Seminar X 2, and seminar assists. Smith enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and two children in the Great Smoky Mountains and Sedona, touring Europe, and going to Walt Disney World.
