Vesna Laković van Kempen

Vesna Laković has a Bachelor in Pedagogy, Master studies in Management in Education. Since 2015. she has been leading mindfulness trainings, workshops and programs for children, young people and adults in Serbia and around the region as an enterpreneur within Mindfulness center. In the past 12 years she has been active in NGO sector in the areas of mental health and n formal education as a trainer, mentor, coordinator and volunteer.
She completed the Mindfulness teacher training in Slovenia in 2015, one year later she also became Mindfulness trainer for children and youth based on program Mindfulness Matters by author Eline Snel. She continues her specialization in Mindfulness by finishing courses in different areas: Mindful self-compassion a program aimed at prevention of burut and compassion fatigue in helping professions, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program in Thailand as well as Mindful leadership program.
One period 2017-2018 she spent in Thailand working as a counselor and Mindfulness facilitator at New life foundation community addiction recovery center. Since 2019. she is also one of the first in Serbia certified TRE provider (tension, stress and trauma release exercises), and her education also includes introduction to personal construct psychotherapy, development of pedagogical competences training of Familylab (association based on values of pedagogue Jesper Juul).
In 2019. together with her partner she founded Shiftmindful center. Shiftmindful offers psycho-educational programs which combine both online and offline invative learning experience designed for companies, organisations, institutions and individuals. Programs such as Mindfulness, Leadership and Stress reduction courses created on a learning platform which combines different methods, gamification and personal guidance.
