Ayahuasca, San Pedro (Huachuma) Shipibo Maestro Diego Sanchez is one of the most powerful and pure-hearted Ayahuasca shamans in Peru today. He comes from a remarkable shamanic lineage, having trained under his grandfather, Manuel Rojas Sanacino, one of the last ‘Merayas’—the highest level of shamanism.

Beyond his vast wisdom and healing abilities, Maestro Diego is known for his kindness, patience, and humility, qualities deeply rooted in his love for humanity. His voice, renowned throughout the Amazon, carries the most beautiful Icaros, and his deep compassion for those seeking healing is palpable to all who attend his ceremonies.

Soi Rawa’s main center is located near Pucallpa, Peru, with additional retreats in the Sacred Valley of the Andes. Under Maestro Diego’s guidance, the center draws on his profound knowledge of the jungle’s healing plants. The primary Ayahuasca retreat, located deep in the jungle, offers a full immersion into the Shipibo tradition, where Ayahuasca’s sacred roots grow. Ceremonies are held in a spacious Moloka, and healing is customized according to Diego’s diagnoses, using the ancient wisdom of Master Plants passed down through generations of Peruvian shamanic medicine.

Maestro Diego also offers an apprenticeship program for those called to learn the art of plant medicine and pursue the path of becoming Ayahuasca shamans.
