Laurel Myers Hurst

Laurel received her nursing education from The Ohio State University and is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She sees patients aged 12 and up in Ohio. Laurel focuses on trauma-responsive, person-centered diagnosis. and treatment and is advanced trained in Family Systems Trauma Therapy. She offers integrative evaluation and assessment, nutritional and botanical support alongside medication management for optimal health in her telehealth practice. Laurel is a Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training (BRMT) consultant; practice of the BRMT protocol helps the brain make new and healthy connections through primitive reflex integration to overcome developmental deficits and difficulties brought on by infection, toxins, injury, and stress. Laurel also supports mental health in families, organizations, and corporations through facilitation of group drumming.
