My approach to end-of-life care comes from the yogic tradition. Compared to the western approach emphasizing certification and licensure, this eastern approach is unorthodox. My work is oriented towards spiritual growth and reflects my decades of yogic training and practice. The intention is to create a space where it is possible to experience a taste of one’s inherent Divinity. It is possible to experience what occurs at the time of death while the body rests safely. Generally, the individual connects with whatever is the next step into a deeper realization of their divine wholeness. It is possible for this experience to take one completely beyond mind and ego. The work is intended to be an aid to an ongoing practice. And, an ongoing practice is essential to get all the benefits from this experience. It is also not uncommon for anxiety and some fear to come up when considering if this is right for you.
We work in locations that do not persecute practioners using natural medicines to assist spiritual practices. There are a growing number of cities and states that are taking steps to protect the use of natural psychedelics. We have found that using psychedelics to assist a spiritual practice is most effective when the spiritual intention (set) and a sacred safe space (setting) are emphasized. These are actually more important than the specific medicine utilized. This work is particularly beneficial for those with an established meditation practice who have not experienced a full release or ego death.
