Dr. Kara Carapella

Dr. Kara Carapella received her Doctorate in Chiropractic, as well as her Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College were she graduated as a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. Dr. Carapella focuses on the underlying causes of dysfunction and disease, and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health care. She promotes patients taking an active role in empowering themselves in their personal health through chiropractic care, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Dr. Carapella has advanced training in RockTape Myofascial Movement Taping, and Sacro-Occipital Technique. In addition, she is certified in Webster Technique, a protocol used to restore biomechanical function of the pelvis for patients who are pregnant.

Dr. Carapella is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA), and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Dr. Carapella has a special interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of pelvic pain, especially postpartum pelvic pain/pelvic floor dysfunction. Chiropractor
