Dr. Nicole Cozean

Dr. Nicole Cozean is the founder of PelvicSanity and a treating physical therapist at the clinic. She's the author of the award-winning book The Interstitial Cystitis Solution, the first physical therapist to serve on the Interstitial Cystitis Association Board of Directors, and on the Prostate.net Medical Advisory Board. Among other awards, Nicole has been named the Physical Therapist of the Year (IC Network) and Alumnae of the Year at Chapman University.

Nicole also teaches physical therapy students at Chapman University and other physical therapists through the Herman & Wallace Institute, where she created the first continuing education course on Interstitial Cystitis.

Nicole received her doctorate from Chapman University and her undergraduate degree from UCSD in Physiology and Neuroscience. Prior to founding PelvicSanity, Nicole started the physical therapy program at Hoag Hospital. She makes her home in Orange County with her husband Jesse and two cats, Mitty and Ziggy.
