Emily Cozine, PT, DPT

Emily completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at San Diego State University. She completed one of her clinical rotations at CTS while in PT school and joined our team after graduation in May 2018. She has been interested in Men and Women's Health since her years as an undergraduate. As a doctoral student, Emily was involved in research analyzing sport specialization among high school cross country runners and the effect it has on injury rates, urinary incontinence, and menstrual function. She presented the findings of her research at the APTA’s annual national conference, CSM 2018, in New Orleans, LA.

Emily has completed continuing education courses in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, Men and Women's Health, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and rehabilitation for persons with limb loss. She is also certified in LSVT BIG therapy, a therapeutic treatment for Parkinson's Disease. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the APTA's Section on Women's Health.
