Dr. K specializes in pre, peri, and postpartum care including education on push preparation and perineal massage. Her ideal patient begins pelvic floor PT in preparation for pregnancy, continues throughout pregnancy for treatment as needed and of course postpartum care. Other treatment focuses include pelvic pain with and without sex, incontinence, prolapse management, constipation and pelvic dysfunction in EDS. Dr. K has also been working in an outpatient orthopedic setting where she has been perfecting her manual skills including active muscle pumping, myofascial decompression (cupping), Graston technique or instrument assisted soft tissue massage and joint mobilizations. Her ultimate goal is to merge the two worlds of orthopedic and pelvic rehab, creating a comprehensive and individualized care plan for each and every patient. As an added bonus, Dr. K has experience as a birth doula and often brings this skill set into her treatment and education as needed.
