At Perth Women's Physio we are a team of experienced women's health physiotherapists who can provide advice and treatment suggestions for a wide variety of conditions that affect women. The most common conditions we help with are:
Bladder concerns – urine leakage, incontinence, urgency, frequency, nocturia, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis.
Bowel concerns – faecal leakage, constipation, incomplete emptying, haemorrhoids, anal fissures.
Pelvic pain or sexual intercourse concerns – dyspareunia, vaginismus, painful orgasm, decreased pleasure, endometriosis.
Pregnancy related problems – pelvic girdle pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, round ligament pain, antenatal exercise programs, preparing for labour or caesarean section delivery.
Postnatal advice – vaginal or caesarean section recovery, breastfeeding concerns, back pain, neck pain, wrist pain, pelvic floor muscle weakness, rectus abdominus diastasis (abdominal separation) and returning to exercise guidelines.
Pelvic organ prolapse – identification, prevention, management, preparation for surgery and recovery from hysterectomy or vaginal repair surgery.
