Galena Sport Physical Therapy in Reno stresses biomechanical rehabilitation. We incorporate your body as a whole into your treatment and help you to re-educate your body after an injury or illness through proper biomechanics. We emphasize one-on-one treatment and extensive manual therapy. We treat most orthopedic injuries.

Pelvic floor evaluations are performed in a private room with our staff physical therapist, Megan Madsen, who has completed pelvic floor training. Examination may include internal evaluation of pelvic floor muscle tone, strength, and endurance if indicated by patient presentation. Treatment may involve internal myofascial release, pelvic floor exercise with or without biofeedback, pelvic floor electrical stimulation, desensitization training, meditation and relaxation training, and other orthopedic treatment or exercise as indicated.
