Rachel earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. While at Columbia, Rachel completed advanced studies in orthopedics and worked as part of a research team that explored the factors that influence the reporting of pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain to providers. Prior to attending graduate school, Rachel attended Brandeis University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience.
In addition to her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Rachel has advanced her training in pelvic floor physical therapy by completing continuing education through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section of Pelvic Health and actively keeps up to date with the latest research.
Rachel takes a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing that helping patients achieve optimal well-being comes from treating more than just physical impairments. Rachel’s background in neuroscience guided her to take a special interest in pain science and the mind-body connection. She aspires to be a conduit to people’s healing and brings a trauma-informed approach to patient care. Rachel emphasizes education as a crucial part of her treatment approach and loves helping her patients understand how to restore their own wellness.
In her spare time she loves to paint, explore the city, and spend time with family and friends. Physical Therapist
